The Bible identifies many strong female characters by name while other times it describes women by their circumstances or unique actions. We can learn from these women, too.
Often described as a "Woman of Noble Character," the last chapter of Proverbs describes an unnamed woman with many honorable attributes.

I did a summary page on this "Woman of Valor" as I watched a session from the Women of the Word Bible Journaling online conference.
I printed the block with circle template on card stock, made a washi tape border around it, and punched it with happy planner punch to place in my Women of the Word BQ journal.
I printed some of the speaker's materials on clear full page label sheets and cut out the individual attributes to use as titles for each quilt block.
Then I began writing verses/phrases in each section, gradually filling up quilt squares.
To celebrate this woman being described as "more precious than jewels," I thought she deserved a little bling on her page. I curved a beaded strand as a necklace and added a few along the tab to set it apart.
There are SO many ways we can document the Proverbs 31 woman. Back in 2020 I followed an online art journaling lesson to create this bold page.
Do you have a woman in the Bible that you've been curious to learn more about?
This set of templates may help you get started:
When I first started doing BQ pages on female characters, I made a set of tabs to use as I create BQ pages on Women of the Bible.
Whether you're attending a Bible study which is focused on a character or a book of the Bible or you're doing an independent study, these tabs can provide you with a quick way to categorize your journal.
Attach these directly to your BQ page or use washi tape to add it to a page protector if you're using a 3-ring binder.
For loose BQJ pages, I often slip them into page protectors until I determine which BQ journal they're going in. By placing them into a 3-ring binder, that gives me ultimate flexibility moving pages around until I've determined the sequence I'd like to use for these character highlight summaries in my Bible Quilt Journal.
Another option is to use a Happy planner punch system and build your journal over time.
If you want to delve in to multiple characters rather than just a few pages, here's a full journal option for you to try:
Dinah Tamar Potiphar's Wife Puah & Shiprah
Merab & Michal Abigail Bathsheba Tamar, daughter of King David
Abishag Queen of Sheba Jezebel
Please share in the comments below or in our BQJ Facebook group. You're also invited to catch one of our BQ sessions.

Dianna these pages and suggestions are all so inspiring! Thank you!!
I would love to do these WOW pages but probably have to wait until this summer! Our Psalm study is a lot but have so enjoyed it!!
Your verse out of Prov31 my DNL Aimee
has always taught her girls they were “precious jewels” and that was how their brother was to treat them as well! And her!
So it has so resonated with me all these years that I started giving grand daughters and friends daughters who begin to drive a hanging big jewel drop to put on their rear view mirror when they get their license and a car to remind them to drive safely because they…
