Women of the Word Bible Quilt® Journal: Potiphar's Wife

In Genesis we're able to read a lot about Joseph's remarkable story. One of the dramatic incidents we learn about involved Potiphar's wife. Although she wasn't named, she did play a pivotal role in Joseph being imprisoned, which led to him being in place to interpret the dreams of the king's chief cupbearer and chief baker. That experience led to him being summoned to interpret Pharaoh's dream and ultimately gain an even higher position in which he was able to help through a famine.
Since the passage about the wife of Potiphar was short, I did something a little different. I cut a piece of card stock to make a smaller page. I added washi tape to the top of the page, then punched it with a Happy Planner punch then inserted it into my disc-bound Women of the Word Bible Quilt Journal.

I attached a tab and used my label maker to spell out Joseph's name, covering up a handwriting mistake as well as making his name stand out.

I added observations on the back side of the page. I finished up with some stitch lines and washi tape.
I've developed a journal specifically on this genre, Women of the Word BQJ for this unique type scripture writing. I'm learning a lot of details about these women and invite you to follow along with me!
