The name Jehosheba comes from the Hebrew words Yahweh, meaning God, and sheba, meaning oath, which translates to "God is my oath."
She saved the life of Joash, the rightful king of Judah, by hiding him in the temple for six years.
Jehosheba's story is one of courage and faith, so I wanted to capture her journey in my Women of the Word BQ Journal.
I opted for pink card stock with the Flower corner printed on it. I placed a strip of washi tape on both sides of the top edge of the page and punched it so I could insert it into my Women of the Word BQ Journal, a disc-bound system that allows me to move pages around.
Since this lesson was from the Women of the Word Bible Journaling Conference, I utilzed some printables offered from the speaker to help illustrate the page.
I took notes from the lesson and also wrote in scriptures, dividing them with various stitch lines to create quilt blocks. I focused one side of the page on the 2 Kings passage and the other side of the page from 2 Chronicles.
I doodled and placed thin strips of washi to balance out the page.

I decided to incorporate a brief video, Jehosheba: The Princess who Saved a King, by making a QR code with the link to place on my page for quick access.

Leaving some space allows me room to add more information or reflections later.
