Back in 2020 the BQJ community enjoyed our first year joining together to focus on a monthly topic, scripture writing a daily verse and creating beautiful pages in our Bible Quilt Journals.
If you are a newcomer and didn't participate in the monthly themes at that time, you can follow along with those previous posts to guide you through these scripture writing plans curated by members of our encouraging BQJ community.
Since the Monthly BQJ released in 2024 was not themed or dated, you can use it in combination with the 2020 reference lists for writing scripture this year. (You'll get a bonus day in February since that was a leap year for both of these resources.)
Since we have many newcomers, I thought it would be helpful to show some completed pages to inspire your creative juices. Follow the links for the orignal posts for additional guidance.
If you joined us back then, enjoy revisiting these monthly spreads! I'm going to keep mine out on a bookstand to review each month.
30 Days of Resurrection (April)
31 Days of Courage (July)
31 Days of Comfort (August)
30 Days of Gratitude (November)
The beauty of the #monthlybiblequiltjournal technique is that these pages can be reviewed and used as a springboard for focused prayer when you or a loved one needs a particular type of encouragement from the Word. Although these pages were originally created in 2020, the scriptures can be used anytime.
You can use the Monthly Bible Quilt Journal, add template pages into your original BQJ, focus on flip card sets, or simply do scripture writing in whatever notebook you have handy.
Just enjoy your time in the Word!
