2 Samuel is the 10th book of the Old Testament and is categorized as one of the Historical books of the Bible. It is a record of King David's reign.
This book chronicles David's victories as well as his failings as he doubles the size of the kingdom.
One of the main themes of 2 Samuel is that blessings or consequences follow every action.
"The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation. He is my stronghold, my refuge." 2 Samuel 2-3
Bible Quilting 2 Samuel
I used some card stock and scrapbook paper to make the title banner, then began writing scripture down the left hand side of the page.
Once I completed the #scripturewriting in 3 general columns, I shaded some of the quilt blocks and added some washi tape.
"Your house and your kingdom shall endure before Me forever; your throne shall be established forever." 2 Samuel 7:16
