Joshua is the 6th book of the Old Testament and records the conquest of Canaan under the leadership of Joshua, son of Nun.
He had such big shoes to fill after Moses, yet has his own mission as he leads the Israelites into the promised land.
Categorized as one of the Historical books of the Bible, Joshua also includes the division of the land among the 12 Tribes of Israel.
Interestingly, although Moses had commissioned Joshua to follow him, Joshua did not name a successor. At the conclusion of this book, the tribes are left without a clear leader.
Bible Quilting Joshua

Once I completed the #scripturewriting, I looked at the whole page and added some additional color in the background of the quilt squares.

Strips of washi tape provide a colorful break between quilt blocks full of text.

I continued with a similar color palette onto the second summary page.

I took additional notes on the Joshua template and the BibleProject poster.
Joshua includes several pivotal characters. You may want to study one or two more in-depth.
For example, Rahab is mentioned directly in the genealogy of Jesus. This template page provides plenty of room for note-taking, so you can add details of interest to you.
Here's a page on Rahab from my Women of the Word BQJ that helps illustrate her story.
The variety of themes of Joshua may inspire you to create pages on specific topics, such as strength or courage.
"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." Joshua 1: 9
