If you're doing a #wordfortheyear, you can use this template as a title page for your Bible Quilt journal. It can serve as a visual reminder to you each time you open your BQ and you can add verses to it throughout the year to continue to develop its meaning to you. If you're not doing #onelittleword this year, then you're welcome to snag one of these #abide verses for your "A" page in your ABC journal!

I'm not big into resolutions, but I do like the fresh start that a new year brings us. It's a time to renew some things that we've slacked off or perhaps tweak our intentions to do certain things in a more purposeful manner. I use my ABC Bible Quilt journal as a way to systematically add verses weekly to pages. Kicking off the first full week of January with "A" and continuing through the alphabet twice gets us to the end of the year.

The ABC flip card set is a handy way for you to organize references or brainstorm words/phrases for your letter-of-the week. Then you'll have some ideas ready when you get to that letter page!

I've got several versions of BQ journals going at a time, some loosely organized and others fairly random. I like the built-in structure of the ABC journal to keep momentum going throughout the year.

If you've purchased the ABC Bible Quilt journal, then you're all set to color in the letter "A" and start plugging in your "A" verses! Here's a sample page:

Keep in mind that these pages develop over time. Adding a few "A" verses during round #1 gets the page started and when you get to round #2, you can dive right in with a few more.

Sometimes I add verses in my own handwriting. Sometimes I encounter an emebelishment that I can incorporate on the page.

On the blank back side of each formatted alpha page, you can glue on other templates if you want to do a full page on a particular theme, like this one on the arrow border for the topic "Arrows of God."

Whatever your approach is, enjoy time in the Word. You're always welcome to share your references, topic ideas, and pages-in-progress in the comments section below! This provides others with a robust resource to access as they begin their ABC journal.
