When ladies gather around the BQ table, creating with scripture and offering encouragement to one another, JOY fills the room as the Holy Spirit knits us together a little closer.
I added a pocket to this page so I could incorporate some bookmarks my Mom had given me to share with Bible Quilters. If you're Bible Quilting with kids, bookmarks can be a great resource for references ...and spelling. š
I'm collecting ideas for my ABC journal on a flip card set. This allows me to jot down key words and the references so that I can look up the whole verse and quilt it onto my page later. (One of these is included at the back of the journal.)
This is a great way to pass along ideas to a friend...or to offer to your kids as a way to encourage them to look up references on their own.
I love this joyful "J" that my friend, Jill, helped create for the ABC Bible Quilt journal! I've got a card washi taped to the page so when I get a few minutes, I can jump right in to "quilting" the verses.
