Philippians 2:5-11
I'm enjoying adapting various BQ templates to use as aids to help me memorize scripture this year.
Our accountability group is memorizing Philippians 2:5-11 in May, so I looked through my templates to choose one with the spacing I need for 7 verses.
I'm realizing I often seek out the ones with banners because they're handy for titles. 😉
I selected the Banner with Vine Patchwork template because it has open space and I can easily adjust one of the larger quilt squares to accomodate two verses.
Next I began writing out the verses, leaving some space for embellishments. For example, I know I have an earth sticker so I'm leaving room to add it when I'm back home to add it.
I had some floral stickers in my BQ Tote, so I added a few of these to balance out the page. Then I simply added some stitch lines and shading to highlight the characteristics of Jesus demonstrated in this passage.
As I work on memorizing, I may highlight and underline additional keywords. Since I've taken photos of the page, I can refer to it when I'm out on my walk or riding in the car.
