Trimming the Trees
Sometimes creating with just one verse on a BQ page is a way to slow down our scattered thought during the busy holiday season.
The Trees template in the Monthly BQJ provided me with an opportunity to focus on the beauty of Isaiah 9:6.
I started the page by shading the background with pastels, then I began my scripture writing.
I decided to use the introductory part of the verse in the background, so I could emphasize the attributes of God on individual trees in the front.
I drew ribbons and ornaments, shading each of the trees a slightly different hue of green.
