Bible Quilt Templates

Sometimes creating with just one verse on a BQ page is a way to slow down our scattered thought during the busy holiday season.

The Trees template in the Monthly BQJ provided me with an opportunity to focus on the beauty of Isaiah 9:6.

I started the page by shading the background with pastels, then I began my scripture writing.

During this season we have a lot of Christmas music and hymns to choose from.

I love the triumphant message of "Joy to the World" and just finished up a BQ page, which I thought I'd share with you to help get your creative juices flowing!

I did some swirls in shades of blue to fill in the background of the page, then I pulled out my gelatos to add soft colors to the ornaments and lights.

Our BQ friend, Alice from Alabama, designed this sweet Nativity template for us to create with during the Christmas season.

During Advent season my family likes to read the Christmas story in Luke 2, so I focused on verses from this passage for my Nativity page.
