I often use sticky notes to remind myself of verses I'd like to include on a certain page.

I'm experimenting with pages that are a patchwork of all kinds of words/phrases that start with "F" as well as pages that focus on one theme, such as this one "F is for...flowers."

Sometimes I'll incorporate pre-printed scripture like this Faith postcard from my Mom:
