Sometimes I like the simplicity of using a similar color palette...

The ABC Bible Quilt Journal has a variety of "letter starters" that sometimes inspire you to go a certain direction. The loose thread on this "C" page made me think of clothes, so I looked in my concordance for references re: clothing.

I loved the Romans verse "clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus." Since I just happened to have a friend with some artistic skills at this BQ session, I asked her if she would draw a shirt for me. I traced her design onto my page and kept going...
