February's theme in our Month-by-Month Bible Quilt Journal is LOVE.
Our world can certainly use more expressions of tenderness and acts of love, can't it?
"...put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony."

I'm preparing for our February 2021 theme by decorating my calendar page with some heart-infused washi tape and valentine stickers.
"Let all that you do be done in love."
1 Corinthians 16:14
Have you ever looked in the concordance for a verse on Love? There are a LOT of scriptures on this subject throughout the Bible. This is obviously a theme we could be saturating in for more than a month!
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart
and with all your soul and with all your mind.
This is the first and greatest commandment."
Matthew 22:37-38
The reference list for this month's verses is part of the printable bookmark set for the first quarter of 2021 released last month.

You can use the regular monthly flip cards or make a heart-shaped set of flip cards using the Imperfect Hearts I shared the other day.
We'll be completing the 28-day pages with these verses this month.
If you don't have a Month-by-Month BQJ, you can download and print the 28-day template set, then attach it your journal.
Additional verses you find can be added to the Love page in the original BQJ.
Another way to use the #28daysoflove reference list is to decorate your February page in your BQ calendar.
This is a great way to infuse scripture into the daily routine of busy family life!
Jot down the birthdays and anniversaries of family members and friends, so you're all set to acknowledge their special day!
Have kiddos making valentines for classmates and teachers?
Gather up some of those valentine stickers and join them!

Use cutouts from last year's valentines and heart/love stamps to add extra details to your freestyle BQ pages.

The "Love chapter" will be day 13...just in time to prepare your hearts for Valentine's Day the following day!
As you're blessing your loved ones with special Valentine goodies, think about service workers who may need a little pick-me-up and pass along a Note of Kindness to them.
Brainstorm with your kids: bus driver, mail carrier, delivery person, cashier at local grocery store, etc.
