If you have the Original Bible Quilt Journal, there are some pages following the #fruitofthespirit section that have some simple borders that provide an easy way to start a BQ page.

On this baseball stitch border page I added the "refuge" tab from the tag tab set, punching a hole in it to slide a ribbon through it for texture. Then I began writing scripture in the top lefthand corner, selecting verses on the topic of refuge.

I maintained a similar color palette of natural blues and greens to evoke a soothing feel to the overall page. I used a stencil to do one verse inside a circle to break up the blockiness, adding a strip of washi or a sticker occasionally to balance out the text.

Tip: For consistency, you could separate each of the verses with a baseball stitch. That approach would also decrease decision fatigue re: how…

Those Bible reading plans are SO shiny & new on Jan 1st... but we may need some visual umph to help motivate us to keep going on cold, wintry days.

I love using the #biblereadingtracker to monitor my reading progress. And this year I'll use it to track my progress Bible Quilting the books of the Bible.

I've had some women use these templates as a printable coloring sheet for their kiddos learning the order of the books of the Bible. How are YOU using it these days?

A great partner to the Bible reading tracker is the flip card set for all the books of the Bible. As you read, enter details on the flip card. Later on you can transfer your info to a BQ page.

Several people have made inquiries recently re: what BQ products where available and what would be the best way to get started. So...this morning I did a spontaneous video tour of my in-home shop for you, which hopefully will give you a better overview of what's accessible to you on your BQ journey.

If you know me personally, you know that marketing & PR is not my strong suit. I much prefer word-of-mouth and personal invitations to learn more about Bible Quilting, but sometimes it's helpful to get the "big picture" and have a chance to peek behind the scenes.... so, here ya go!
