One blessing of the pandemic was that it "trained" us how to use another type of technology to connect to one another from all across the country and even give our international Bible Quilters a chance to meet with us virtually.

If you're new to Zoom or uncertain how to access my Zoom sessions, here's a brief video overview for you.

It's a rainy Monday and I don't have makeup/hair done, so zip past my tired face. This is after a busy fall break helping my son complete his Eagle Scout project and it's my regrouping day! 😉

This is an intergenerational chat with Bible Quilters both "seasoned" and "brand new." We share ideas and strategies re: getting pages started, exploring different ways to gather and organize verses we want to create with on our #biblequiltjournal pages.

We chat about how to use #biblequilting to manage our reactions to the current coronavirus crisis, using our pages as a way to claim scripture over anxiety and uncertainty, etc. Related post: Bible Quilting through Crisis

I showed a couple new vertical templates that can be used as "positive headlines" to counter the weight of the negative news. We also cover techniques using hymnals and stencils.
