Quick & Easy Cheese Biscuits

Need a little carb comfort?

We've had some rainy days lately and these biscuits were the perfect addition to dinner the other night.

I've had this recipe a LOOOONNNNG time, but it's a winner every time. #noleftovers

3 ingredients. That's all!

2 cups Bisquick

2/3 cup milk

3/4 cup shredded cheese

Mix it all up in a bowl and plop by spoonfuls onto a baking sheet.

As you can see, the biscuits don't have to be perfectly rounded. I just try to get them dropped by a similar size so they bake fairly evenly. The irregular edges and ridges brown nicely for a little crispiness.

Pop in the preheated oven (350 degrees) for about 10 minutes.

While they're baking, melt a couple Tablespoons of butter in the microwave and stir in a little seasoning (garlic powder/salt + an herb of some kind). Baste this over each biscuit, then bake a few more minutes.

This recipe doesn't make a very large batch, so you can easily double/triple it. I determine the size of the batch based upon the meal I'm serving and how many people I'm feeding.

Have your kiddos make these with you...and the next time they can probably do it themselves.

There you go! Carbs of comfort!!
