When we have a stirring in our hearts to pray for others in challenging times, sometimes it helps to busy our hands to focus our attention. I often do this by creating #biblequiltjournal pages. Here's a simple template you can complete if you're feeling led to pray for Ukraine, too.
I embedded this photo onto a block template, so you can easily print and start plugging in verses around it. I've got the listing set up so you can use the coupon code UKRAINE to get the printable free.
I chose to paste mine onto colored card stock as a border behind the template as I attached it into my Monthly BQJ. You can leave it as a single page to add into your Bible or to share with your children as a coloring sheet.
I used some stickers I had available to use as visual embellishments and began writing in selected scriptures.
"...be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer." Romans 12:12
If you have particular missionaries or specific people to pray for, you can also add their names. Whatever helps you focus best.
"...petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people - for rulers and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness." 1 Timothy 2:1-2
Remember to use code UKRAINE to get the printable free.
Yes, I got them from Etsy. Artymaze. I love her printables.
I ran out of room on my prayer page so I made a pocket from a nap of the region and I am using sunflower journaling cards to write down new requests to pray over will keep this tucked into my journal
Thank you, Dianna! I was bothered about leaving a page blank in February and now I know why. I used your design idea, but filled the blocks with specific requests. I left some blank for the prayer requests that will follow. I am praying Psalm 91 over all, so I used some of those verses for the border. I love how the God of heaven’s army is raising an army of prayer warriors.
A beautiful song to listen to as you pray and Bible Quilt...
