Did you ever have one of those teachers that was able to tame a chaotic classroom just by entering with a calm demeanor, making gentle eye contact, and speaking in a whisper?
It's like a magic trick: squirmy adolescents are shocked into silence.
I wonder if we can harness a little of this whisper power to infuse some Quiet into our ordinary day?
When I journaled this verse, I had a mental image of a huge mug filled to the brim with Quiet, flavored with Still and sprinkled with Slow.
I long for the nourishment in my soul that a deep Quiet like that could offer. What about you?
