Christmas Bible Quilt® Journal: Advent Week Two

Prior to church I prepped the next page in my Christmas BQ journal for week 2 of our Advent series.
I colored in the holly leaves and added some festive washi tape.
On the facing blank page, I glued on the printouts of the sermon passage from our online church bulletin.
As our pastor read the passage aloud in the morning service, I highlighted and underlined key phrases. Then I jotted down some points he made during his introduction to the lesson.
🎶 In the margin I jotted down some of the song titles from our worship time to help trigger these memories when I review my pages in the future. I wrote notes and scripture references during the service, then tidied it up a bit when I got home.
That's my process, which was easier this week than last, so I think I'm finding my rhythm. 😉
