Washi Tape as a Wonderful BQJ Companion
Wondering what to do with #washitape on your BQJ pages?
Here's an example of several ways to incorporate washi on one page:
** a strip as part of an illustration - blue patterned washi as bottom layer of sea;
** a full strip across bottom of page to ground the page (bonus if it reflects topic/theme⚓︎);
** washi with words/phrases - tear a keyword that can be used several times on the page;
** to cover up a mistake - - - then add similar lengths of washi already in use, so that it looks intentional
** to fill in blank space, balancing out the overall impact of the page
Tip: Use a roll of patterned washi tape to determine the color palette for your whole page (ex: the anchor washi had blues and reds, so those became the main colors throughout this page)
