Finding purpose in our online connections...
We all "catch up" with our online friends & trends at odd moments of the day, typically when waiting between activities. I often get some great verse ideas & applications during my scrolling...and if I get a verse or two quilted, it feels like those online connections have been more purposeful.
This morning a friend shared Proverbs 16:9
"The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord ESTABLISHES his steps."
I've used this verse in my #biblequiltjournal on my boys' pages, yet also thought I'd capture it in my ABC journal because of that strong "E" word & reminder that it's the LORD that ESTABLISHES our steps.
As I reviewed the other verses on this page, I love how these verses mesh together.
If we keep our eyes on the Lord, remembering that we're engraved on His hand & our steps are established by Him, then we can do everything with endurance knowing that Elohim is with us in whatever challenge we're facing.
I think that's a pretty good harvest for a rainy Saturday morning! ☺️
