Hello to all! My name is Jennifer Roberts and I have lived here in Springfield for 30 years. I'm originally from northeast Iowa. By the way...we have much 'better' winters here! 😀 I have been retired for a year now and am LOVING every minute of it! 🙃 I finally have the time to explore new things (like Bible Quilting). Very excited about what the Lord has in store for this season of my life. In all honesty, posting or being involved with platforms like FB are just not my thing and I find it VERY difficult to put myself out there in those environments...I choose to just read and observe others interactions. However, on this private site, I have chosen to allow the Lord to stretch me and to help me to take the risk of actually making a post and maybe even leaving my camera on during Zoom calls. lol 🙄 I am looking forward to this opportunity to connect with a community of people who love the Lord and are endeavoring to worship Him creatively. That being said, I also (like others) first heard of Dianna' ministry at SoJo's Explore the Word conference last year. I was intrigued! Finally, in December, I purchased the 2022 Bible Quilt Journal and the original BQ Journal and have completed a few of the pages thus far. I call myself a "creative wannabe' as I struggle with my end result not quite measuring up to the image I had in my mind when I began the page. lol But, I am definitely a work in progress and am hoping over time and with the tips and information available here I can move my end result closer and closer to the original plan. Am looking forward to joining the Zoom calls, learning new things and connecting with this community of believers. Love in Christ, Jennifer ❣️
