October in the 2022 BQ Calendar
It's pumpkin season again. Woohoo!
That means we get to engage with all the fun colors of the harvest season. A great place to start is with the Pumpkin Patch template, which is featured in October of the 2022 Bible Quilt Calendar.
I started my page by shading in the pumpkins with some pastel gelatos and doodling patterns in the stems.
On the interior of the pumpkins I added stickers which had scripture and inspirational statements.
Next I stamped some leaves, acorns and fall flowers around the pumpkins, providing a colorful background.
I finished off the page by adding some embellishments onto the calendar, creating a border with some fall washi tape. I was excited I had the "right" amount of squares to hang the AUTUMN banner from an Echo Park sticker pack I got last year.
With some family birthdays and events penciled in, I'm ready for October!
