April showers bring May flowers....

The featured template for April in the Monthly Bible Quilt Journal is the Rainbow 2.
This is an excellent "excuse" to pull out all your colorful washi tape and have fun creating a cheerful rainbow page!
You can fill each section of the rainbow with washi or alternate with colored pencil designs. Your choice!
Note: In hindsight I would add more red patterns on the left to balance it out a little more.

The vibrant colors of spring inspire us in many ways, including themes for our BQ journals. The Spring Showers trio set provides us with several options for rainy day pages. The umbrella is fun to decorate in a variety of ways!
If you're feeling melancholy on stormy days, there are scriptures reminding us that these moods are temporary and our refuge in the Lord is eternal.
I found some raindrop washi tape to use for the border and used some floral stickers to embellish the umbrella.
For a little more splash, I added some rain boots to the other two templates.
Once you've done an April Showers page, then you may be motivated to do a May Flowers like @francarona did:

The Lord wants our "hearts to be inclined" toward Him and to keep His commandments, "so that it might go well" with us and our children.
He desires for us to "walk in obedience" and "impress them" on our children. (Deuteronomy 5:29, 6:7)
"Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up." Deuteronomy 6:7
This is how we learn about anything, isn't it? We read and talk about something we're interested in, gradually deepening our knowledge of that topic. The beauty of reading scripture often and regularly (even listening to it on walks) is that His Word gives us fresh perspective for each day. It renews us.

Well I totally forgot about those templates. Thanks for showing us what we can do with them.
