Daily we have the opportunity to delight in the grace of God and to delve into the holy Word.

May "Christ dwell in your hearts..." in a special way for you today, friends!

Mix up the look of your letters by incorporating some stickers, stamps, or stencils.

Here's another "D" page example from a friend:

D page on #circletemplate by Stephanie

If you look closely, you can see the she started with a Circle template and used it to highlight her "D" as the title...and made it to match her tab! 😉

What did you use for your design? Looks like a cool wallpaper effect! 👍

My friend, Tracy, used a plastic quilting stencil. She did a great job!

ABC Bible Quilt Journal - Printable version

I was inspired by some of my international friends to make more of the Bible Quilt products accessible to those of you joining in long-distance. 😊 So...I've added a printable version of the ABC Bible Quilt journal into the online shop . I'm experimenting with the size being 8.5 x 11 so it's more manageable to print and not have to trim down to the typical 7 x 10 BQ journal size. Once you've got it printed, you can hole-punch the set (minus the tabs and ABC flip cards) to put into a -ring binder. Or, you could take the printed set to a local print shop and have it bound with a spiral binding of your choice. We'll see how this goes! If you choose this option, please let me know how it works for you!

How to navigate the ABC boards

This website is public. Anyone can view it. If you want to engage more by adding comments and sharing page photos, then you need to become a site member. Click where it says "log in" at the upper right hand corner of the homepage and follow the prompts. Think of the BQ Community tab as a forum in which to share with one another on a variety of topic boards. My hope is to create resources that we can all access and contribute too. I've laid out the structure and each of you can build upon it! For example, I've got posts on the "ABC Bible Quilt journal" for each letter of the alphabet. These will be the main entry for each letter. As you share comments or photos, enter these under the comments section. The next person that comes along to view that letter will see the main post and also be able to scroll through the comments to see some other ideas. You can view the "A" board to see the sequence of sharing in the comments. Sometimes I will add to the "meat" of the letter-of-the-week post or maybe even add a photo from a page someone has shared with me. If you want to receive notifications re: updates on the ABC board, then click "follow" on the upper righthand corner of that menu board. Hope this little videoclip helps clarify things further for you!

A to Z: a glimpse of my ABCbiblequiltjournal

We all know that the Bible is full of encouragement and wisdom, but sometimes it's good to look at these truths in a new perspective. I think that's one of the fun things about Bible Quilting the #abcsofthebible. You can snatch bits and pieces of verses throughout the Bible to create a beautiful page of new ideas/terms, perhaps seeing things in new light. Here's a glimpse of some of my #ABCbiblequiltjournal pages so far: Notice that some of my pages still have space for more verses...this is an on-going process of collecting beloved verses in a unique way. Stay tuned for another round of #abcsofthebible & join in at any time! The NEW #ABCbiblequiltjournal is here! Read more...
