The Flying Kite was designed for the Bible Quilt journal by Mary Jo, adapted from an actual quilt pattern.
 
This pattern reminded me of a pinwheel, so I used different colors on each triangular section. Then I chose a verse that had 8 character traits mentioned to fill up each section. Imagine how each of these character traits merge and blend into one another - much like the colors on a spinning pinwheel blur together.

This download includes both sizes of the template to accomodate whichever BQ journal size you have (7 x 10 or 8.5 x 11). Print out the template on a sheet of card stock and trim it down to fit the Bible Quilt journal page. Use a glue stick to attach it to the page and reinforce edges with washi tape if desired.
