The Advent Patchwork was designed for the Bible Quilt journal as a way to capture the significant elements of the Christmas story in this summary format.
 
This is a creative way to summarize any devotional you're doing this holiday season. Simply write in the verse for each of the 25 quilt squares as you prepare your heart for Christmas.
 
Your kids can help color in each square as you talk about the charcters in the nativity story.
 
If your family enjoys reading through Luke during the Christmas season, listen for a key verse from each chapter that you can add to your Advent page.
 
This download includes both sizes to accomodate whichever BQ journal size you have (7 x 10 or 8.5 x 11). Print out the template on a sheet of card stock and trim it down to fit the Bible Quilt journal page. Use a glue stick to attach it to the page and reinforce edges with washi tape if desired.
