It's good to have friends with artistic talent, isn't it?
A few months ago I was chatting with a friend about template design ideas. Out of that conversation came this lovely Tree template from my local friend, Annette.
As with a lot of pages, I began by coloring in the design then let the idea simmer a while.
This morning as my boys slept in and I was praying over their continued growth at college, this scripture came to mind. I decided to let one single verse capture the whole page.

I think I've told you my trick before if you're doing a #biblequiltjournal for multiple kids, haven't I?
I'm making color copies of this page as it currently is, then personalize it for each of my sons' journals. I may shade in the background a little differently on each one and use a variety of washi tape to give them unique color palettes.
